Music man corners and chassis straps

Just got a 120B transistor bass head. Seems like it's all there, but the corners and straps are rusted. Tolex is perfect and the amp works great. Two questions. Will fender corners and chassis straps fit this unit? The straps measure almost three inches screw to screw. Does anyone know what the limiter rocker switch does?
I used to work for the company (Chicago Switch) that made those switches back in the mid seventies. Should have kept a whole bunch. Who knew?

Hi Denny For corners, the Ernie Ball/Music Man corners are the same. There are no replacement for the chassis straps. The limiter switch is used to go to the distortion chl., if you do not have a foot switch.
I use {Lime A Way} from the grocery to take the rust off. It works very well. Then I get them renickled. Some I have gotten re-chromed.

Thanks. How do you order from Ernie Ball? I went to their website (it sucks!) They have no order system (shopping cart etc.) I guess I'll have to call them directly. This amp has only one channel and one input. All transistor. I used it this past weekend and it worked great. 100 bass pounding solid state watts. Good for a small club with a 15 cabinet. I checked the schematic for a 1600B chassis and still can't tell what the limiter switch does. I can't tell by the sound. Seems not to do anything. The switch is a three position rocker (like the ground switch) with off, low and high positions. Very Strange. Thanks for the tip on the cleaner. I'll try that.

GO TO YOUR LOCAL MUSIC STORE...AND ASK FOR THE ERNIE BALL CORNERS. MUSICIAN'S FRIEND WILL PROBABLY HAVE THEM ALSO. MAYBE THE LIMITER SWITCH ON THIS AMP IS USED FOR TREBLE OR BASS.

Deny, I just wanted to post this to let other people know what this B120 Solid State Bass Head does. The limiter switch works like a commpressor. The best way to use it is by setting the switch to the Hi position and cranking the volume all the way up to ten. You should hear it kick in at this point by playing the loudest and hardest you can. It limits the signal from distorting. Turn it off and you'll get the full power of the amp. The amp actually pushes 120w @ 4ohms (with one 15" speaker) Connect two 15" speakers and it pushes 80w @ 8ohms (that's 80 watts per speaker for a total off 160 watts Wow!!) This is all stamped in the back of the amp. The limiter is great for thumping, slapping, and popping. Thanks Jesse Tobias
