Just a little music from Saturday night
I'm sure a good many of our forum members were moved by the passing of Glen Frey last month. My band promptly put a suite of 3 Eagles songs in our set - some of which we had played before but taken out again thinking people would be bored with them by now. Anyway, I'm thinking we are now stuck with playing those songs for a while as the fans have been overwhelmingly supportive. I guess it shows us how enduring Glen Frey's work has proven to be.
Last night somebody filmed us playing Take It Easy so I thought I'd post a link here. I am playing my pet Sixty-Five Reverb 112. Our lead singer is using my RD-50 110 (its only serious modifications being an upgrade of the limiter channel to code 'E' and the speaker is an older MM AlNiCo speaker).
I'm playing my '81 USA Fender Bullet, no fx but I may have used a clean boost in the solo. I'm using my 'country music' setting - bright on, tone controls at 5, reverb at 4, deep on.
If you click on the video further down it has another recently departed musician's work in it (we started playing the song last summer). In that one I'm using my 80's Startocaster and my original Tube Driver pedal for overdrive and the occasional use of PH-1 phaser.

Enjoy!

Don't feel lonely. Don't do fluckbook either. Good stuff Lars. Wish I was back at it but the music has pretty much died here for old ba$tards like me. Even the duo gigs have stopped. Me thinks it's time to look around. There's USUALLY a place for a short, balding, stupid guitar player SOMEWHERE!. Mike.

Sounds good man! Your singer
Sounds good man! Your singer has little bit of a Don Felder look going on there also.
