MM 112-RD 100

Scored a 112-RD 100 to play my Jazzmaster though about three months ago and have enjoyed this amp ever since. Picked it up relatively cheap in Santa Barbara. The outside is a bit rough (missing tolex) and the cabinet has been spray painted black :( . The grill cloth is the same as the silver face Fenders, but what puzzles me is the emblems. The emblem that states the type of amplifier says 112-RD is in black letters with silver backing (earlier type), and the MM logo is the later version (silver on black). Can't find the serial number table on the internet to find out what year this little gem is actually from. The only issue besides the tolex is, the bright switch. When switched into the bright mode there's a crackle or, static when letting a note ring out (thats the best description I can come up with). Other than that, I love it. Great cleans, and an awesome pedal platform.

I just bought a 210 65 from a pawn shop. Very good condition and seems to be all original. This is my second MM amp as I traded off a 212 130 many years ago. I currently own 210 Sixty-Five, Fender DRRI,
Pro Jr., Concert(Rivera),'70 Bassman,Gibson Falcon,'77 Marshall 1987,JTM612, 4x12,2x12's...stuff. Usually plug a Les Paul or Tele into these, ocassionally a Strat.

Congrats on your score! I got one of the 112RD 100 also and it is my gig amp for the gospel group I play for. I replaced the big EV speaker with a Eminence Tonkerlite and it is much easier to move around now and I do like the tone of this speaker in this amp. These are some great amps. Enjoy!
