This is a 410 HD 130. Speaker codes say 1978. I have never seen one with black grill cloth. Did they make any, or has this been most likely changed out??
I must say, that's a good get! Looks to me as though the grillecloth is not original but, I'm not 100% sure. They may have made some black ones. Did you get a good deal on it? Congratulations!
Traded a Marshall JCM 2000 head for it. I picked up a Plexi recently so I had no use for the JCM 2000. I ordered the silver grill cloth for it. I like that look much better. I am pretty sure the cloth has been changed on this one. All the ones I have seen with black cloth, have the colors reversed on the badges.
I'm new to the forum, was just setting up my account and saw you have a similar looking amp to mine, which I just got at Guitar Center 2 days ago. Here's mine, as I just pulled the chassis to see if any work has been done..I have no idea what year mine is, but it's a 210 HD 130, no preamp tube.I hope the pic shows..ps, mine has a magic marker date inside which reads 1980
