Can i lower the rate of the trmolo???

is it possible to lower the rate of the tremolo to be slower than the lowest setting of the front panel? will turning the trim pot on the pcb do the trick?
i'm using a HD 130 reverb with the 12AX7...
or should i jusr get a pedal ?
