Howdy,
I FINALLY Bought A MM! Long story short, a friend of my dads passed away and he and I have been kinda looking out for his wife and helping her out. While goin through some stuff she wanted to sell I ran across this 65 reverb and 212RH 130 cab. I asked her what she wanted for it, to which she replied "What's it worth?" I told her from the condition it was in and what I'd read on here probably in the neighborhood of about $500-$600. She offered it to me for $250!!!!!! I actually felt bad, but she insisted. Who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth. It's about a 9 on a scale of 1-10. The center cap is missing from the reverb knob, there's a little rust on one of the cab corners, and a 1/4" tear in the tolex on the bottom. Other than that, it's mint. No crackling in the knobs, and no rust ANYWHERE on the chassis. The verb/trem pedal doesn't even look like it's been used. I brought the $250 up with me for Christmas, and my dad told me he was giving me $100 for my birthday/Christmas gift. So I guess in all reality I only paid $150 for it.
Anyway, I'm trying to find out the year, but I'm seeing from the forum that the serial numbers are somewhat ambiguous. Can anybody out there help me out with this? It's a 2275-65 chassis with the serial number BN02827. There are some pics of it on my website http://sodysscalehotrods.i8.com/photos.h tm
they're at the bottom of the left hand column of pics.
Any help would be most greatly appreciated!
Thanks! I'm heading down to make some noise now!

That IS in nice shape! Good deal too!
Your amp has the 12AX7 phase-splitter tube in it so it was made sometime in the 1974-77 range most likely.
Another successful "Music Man amp in a barn" story! Thanks for sharing it.
