Faulty Speaker Plug

Anybody who still has the factory plastic-moulded switchcraft speaker plug connecting their speakers to their MM amp beware - I just figured out mine caused my amp to stop working for 15 years, made it mysteriously start working again, and caused a great set of USA-made mesa boogie tubes to blow up by blowing out a driver transistors in the output section. Anybody still using the plug, do yourself a favour and quickly replace it while there's still time!
