Hi everybody,
I hope this works out. Here's my 1976 212 HD. It's in a pretty good shape with original Eminence AlNiCo-speakers with date code '76. I hope you like it ;-)
Best regards,
Vito!

I forgot: I added the tilt-back-legs myself - I think they fit perfect to the amp-style :-)
Best regards,
Vito!

Your amp is pretty clean! I think that the best option you can add to almost any Music Man combo are the Fender tilt-back legs.
Since these legs are available in 14", 16" and 19" lengths, you can find an appropriate set for 112, 210, 212 and 410 combos!

Hi Vito, i was wondering how can you tell it's from 1976? Or are you the first owner ;-)

Date codes above are for 76 on the speakers. That means at least the speakers were MADE in 76. Also, you can sometimes find dates scribbles inside the chassis as well as the transformer numbers. Mike.

Transformers/ tolex / hardware look clean as a whistle... Not bad for a 40+ year old amp! Thanks for photos

I’ve been playing this rig for about half a year now, it can be finicky (that’s why i’m here to sort out the issues), and IS heavy in more ways than 1... Hoyt gifted his lead guitarist Louie Bond this Musicman for his birthday in ‘98 (Victor, MT) the year before he passed away. Louie wrote the last verse to Hoyts song “the way it shoulda been” about his dear friend Hoyt. Louie my mentor gifted this baby to me this year. Just yesterday i found one of his pics in the yellow road case. Mr. Axtons last touring band was “the banana band”, hence the yellow road case.

OK- that's cool. Wish the pics weren't upside down! Mike.
