1977 Music Man Collection

46 years ago, when I saw John Deacon and Thomas Hamilton playing the Stingray Bass, I became a music man.
Recently, I've finally been able to collect Music Man products from around this time, and I'm particular about collecting products from 1977.

1977 112 Sixty-Five 2275-65 (BN07491),
1977 HD130 2100-130(A001951),
1977 Stingray Bass (B005256),
1977 Stingray II Guitar (G003293)

I haven't gotten a cabinet for my bass yet and am playing it with an Ernie Ball HD210 Audiophile.

Mike, thank you for your comment.
I live in Japan, but there are very few old Music Man equipment left in Japan.
I'm looking for a 210RH-130 or 212RH-130 cabinet for my bass guitar, but I can't seem to find one.

I'm dreaming of recreating the world of the image photos in the Music Man catalog that I saw when I was young at home.

Hi, Mike

do you have a lot of gear?
Thank you for sharing information about foreign countries.
Like everyone else, I check eBay from time to time.
However, in Japan where I live, the voltage is 100V.
Most electrical products imported directly from the United States and other countries are 120V.
In the 1970s, Music Man's amps, officially imported by the then Japanese importer Kanda Shokai, were tuned to 100V to ensure full performance in Japan.
The letters are added to the model number of Music Man amplifiers that are officially imported to Japan.
My Music Man amps also have the letters added.
And a sign converted to 100V at is affixed.

If you find a good amp on a global market such as eBay, you have to think about transformers.
But I would love to have a good amp.
Because I love Music Man.

thank you.

Only have two MM's. One functional (210-65 with tube) and a 130 watt chassis that I blew up and honestly, never got around to fixing. 130 is LOUD and these days, nobody really need 130 watt amp. I've had 2- 2x12 MM 130's also. I used to sell MM stuff in the mid/late 70's so I have been around them for years. I used my 210 a lot in the early 2000's and then switched around. Worked through a modded 5o watt bassman for a long time. Used a linear jbl fender twin from 79 until the late 90's. Last amp I used a lot before I quit playing was a little Vox night train. I used the MM 210 in 2015-2020 so that I could drag one amp and play guitar AND keys through in small places. MM has Weber California 10's. My single 1x12 cabs that I used(2) have Weber Cerwin Vega clones in them. Those are nice. Boys and toys! Mike.
