Does it have a 12ax7 tube in it besides the two 6CA7's or is it JUST the power tubes. WITH the 12ax7, it dates to 74-77. NO 12ax7, 77-79 or so. |

Black badge logo often indicates '80 - '84, but that is not a guarantee.
Also check the date stamp on the speaker (if the speakers are original). They will start with 67-YYWW.
The YY is the year of manufacture, the WW is the week of manufacture.
Example: If the code is 67-8124....
The 67 stands for eminence.
The 81 means the speaker was made in 1981
The 24 means the speaker was made in the 24th week of 1981
That is not 100% accurate in dating the amp, but it is usually safe to say the amp is within a 6 month window of that date stamp.
