Hello everyone,
I'm the proud owner of a 410 sixty five combo over here in the UK.
I believe the amp is an import model as its fitted with an additional mains transformer and the power info shows 120v.
I am aware the amp is all original bar the reverb and tremolo footswitch, although the accutronics reverb may well be a replacement unit?
I've posted a few pics below with the serial number too. Is someone able to date it for me?
Thanks

Does it have a 12ax7 tube in it besides the two 6CA7's or is it JUST the power tubes. WITH the 12ax7, it dates to 74-77. NO 12ax7, 77-79 or so.

Sorry, yes it does have a 12ax7 tube in the preamp section.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Hello everyone. I am a new owner of a 112 rp 65. Outstanding amp, I cannot get over the sound. I was wondering if there is a way of dating this. I apologize if this has already been answered. Thanks!

6L6 Tubes - '80 - '84
6CA7 (EL34) - '78 - '79

Black badge logo often indicates '80 - '84, but that is not a guarantee.

Also check the date stamp on the speaker (if the speakers are original). They will start with 67-YYWW.
The YY is the year of manufacture, the WW is the week of manufacture.

Example: If the code is 67-8124....
The 67 stands for eminence.
The 81 means the speaker was made in 1981
The 24 means the speaker was made in the 24th week of 1981

That is not 100% accurate in dating the amp, but it is usually safe to say the amp is within a 6 month window of that date stamp.

Hi,
I bought my amp new June 1975.
I am looking to possibly narrow down the actual
manufacturing date.
The chassis number is 2275-65
The serial number is BN00900
Thanks!

Hi Smitty,
The easiest and most accurate way to confirm the date is to remove the chassis from the cabinet enclosure. The date of manufacture (or testing actually, I think) will be written on the circuit board with a sharpie pen and initialled by the tester.
