212 SixtyFive Reverb. Send dead?

Hi,

i have a tiny problem here, as the reverb of my 212 SixtyFive stopped working. If i touch or shake the reverb tank, i can still here the sound of the spring when i shake it, so apparently only the send is dead. Can this be the case? Can a bad 12AX7 be the reason for this? I'd be happy to get any kind of input regarding this problem, thanks!

Most likely the input transformer(coil) in the tank is junk. Could be a broken wire or the coil itself took a dump. PROBABLY needs a tank. They are awful flimsy. Mike

As Mike points out, you more than likely have a broken wire or solder joint in the tank. Worst case, order a new MOD tank and you're back in business.
