I have acquired a 212- 65 and discovered the power requirement is 120 volt mains as detailed on the back panel plate. I live in the UK so I wish to know if there is a 250v tap on the primary winding on the existing transformer, or do I have to source a replacement (Euro)transformer ? |

Straight swap yes but I DO suggest tightening and cleaning the sockets when you replace them. That amp is 1974-77 or so and it may have loosened up a little. Just my 2c's worth. It could use a cap job too. They're 30+ years old. Mike. |
