Hi Amp gurus
There appears to be a bit of confusion regarding the 12 ax7 `in the example of the RD50 112.
Can somebody here provide me with a definitive answer and I clear the matter up on the forum.

I agree, Andy Fuchs said just about everything that needs be said. The guy who thinks that the 12AX7 in THAT model is for the phase splitter is incorrect. One look at the schematic tells it all as well (if you can read a schematic, of course).

Also, to my knowledge there was NEVER an all tube Music Man amplifier!
