Appropriate HD-130 speaker?

Hey there-
I am wondering if I can run an HD-130 head into a single 15" speaker (JBL D-130F). That's an 8 ohm speaker. I am still a little unclear about impedance. Would this be damaging to the amp or the speaker? Thanks for your help-

The HD series usually had an impedence switch on the back. Set it to 8 and go. If, for some reason, you have one without it,(don't know why) a 80hm load will be fine with your 4ohm trans. Jsut don't go any higher.
