What's this cap do? What's it's effect ont his circuit and why shouldn't I remove it?

Nevermind, it in conjunction with R10, affect the highs in the channel.

Does this affect the highs, and when cutting it out do I get more or less highs?

It's a filter stage for the supply voltage for the first high gain stage.

Cutting of the C6 was seen on one of the mods posted on a forum. Couldn’t remember which forum.
