I was wondering if any of you regularly run your HD-130 (or any other quad-tube MM amp) with a pair pulled? Any odd side effects I should know about? Does it help you get a good distored tone w/out peeling paint or not worth it? |

Honestly, it really doesn't reduce the volume that much. You are better off just using the master down. I think it really only drops about 3 or 4 dB. Mike |
