Replacing a speaker question

i have 410 mm amp. butthe front logo says "410 sixty five" and the back says "2275-130". im pretty sure this is messed up but thats not what im concerned about.
one of the speakers sucks and i need to replace it and im wondering if i need alnico or ceramic speaker and if theres anything else specific i should know

of course you could use both AlNiCo or Ceramic magnet speakers. AlNiCo magnet speakers are a bit more compressed and fat, ceramic magnet speakers have more headroom. So it's up to you what you like. I would recommend weber speakers. I have ones in some amplifiers and can only say good things about them.www.webervst.com
If you're looking for a perfect match with the remaining three speakers, maybe you should contact Ted at webervst. He'll know which one to take - but maybe you should at least change two of them.

To all my musicman lovers, keep on crunching. I have a HD150 however, it needs speakers, can anyone help me with my selection. Do the Celestions V30 sound anything like Fanes, Eminence, I like the vintage sound.

I think the celestions are very close to the fanes. The eminence vintage is too new to me-no knowledge of it. The 150 series does have a lot of balls for celestions unless you are using 4 of them. If you are using a combo amp, I'd say JBL's or Weber Cali's simply because of the power capabilities. Mike.

I recently sent them to Orange County Speakers, in Garden Grove California, and had them reconed.These guys did an awsome job, the speakers sound better than new.The repairs were about 80.00 bucks and with shipping costs from coast to coast(Ilive in Georgia on the east coast) the total cost was less than 120. bucks
