In the "Backline Blueprint" feature in the April 2005 Guitar One magazine, Johnny Winter is the featured artist and a silver-badged Music Man 410HD is the centerpiece of the 3/4 page photo! |

Here's a picture of his boss ce2 on stage. From a Johnny Winter web site (I can't remember which one). |

I've heard many times his standard set-up is two 410HD, one for playing + one for backup on standby, and depending on the rooms acoustics will occasionally use a 212 130HD. This pictures seems to confirm it, only one is being mic'ed. |

Treble on 10 and everything else off?????? WOW i will have to try that one. |

Not only that, but there's a second mic behind the amp. I've heard of this combination, but typically the front mic is a little further out. I wonder if this gives it somewhat of an off-axis tone? |

Having the microphones where they seem to be in the photo would certainly take some of that treble edge off! Treble on "10" could be painful! |
