115-RH-65 Dimensions and Build Plans

Hi,
I am thinking of building a 115-RH-65 speaker cabinet.
Does anyone have a Build Plan for it, or some dimensioning for the folded horn baffle on the interior?
Thanks!

I've never seen any build plans out there but you never know. I'll check though all my junk and see if there's anything there but I doubt it.

Rather than a folded horn, it looks to be a front firing driver with a horn loaded port, (opening at the bottom rear). Just figure the speaker's recommended cab volume, and then play with dimensions for the port opening. I suspect a 2" gap across the cab would be close, but you may also experiment by closing the gap, and see if it gives you the desired results.
I noticed in resource section the overall dimensions are 27.5" X 27.5" X 13.25".

Thanks guys
I am a bit reluctant to wing-it on the folded horn dimensions. I took a stab at figuring the length of the sound path and the inside throat dimensions using the “Golden Ratio” phi for a natural “horn” which I think are correct. There are some wild and crazy designs for a folded horn on the interwebs …but I am not that creative, or ambitious.

The speaker I am using is an older model EVM 15B which I picked up for free. The recommended cabinet volume is 3.2 cu.ft. I believe…so I am building a closed back cabinet that works out close to 3.2 cu.ft. 24 x 21 x 12’ish with an 8 degree back-slant on the front baffle. Modelled along the lines of the Music Man RD115 EVM-15.

I have room for the suggested ports on the front baffle…so I can add those in after a bit of experimentation...like the TL606 cabinet as suggested by Bill Moore.

I’ll post some pictures once I get it assembled

That is a great cabinet, I built one for my wife years ago, we even used it with her BG250 on crowded stages. It is capable of 40 hz!
In a folded horn cab, the driver fires to the rear into the horn, or in the case of the Cerwin Vega cab my wife has, it fires down into the (half folded) horn.

I don't have a photo on my tablet, I've got it on my work computer, and this forum limits file size.

This is what I ended up with. No ports. I might add a 2-inch port on the back panel as it is currently closed.

Hey, if it works, it works. Interesting "drip" ledge on top!
