RD50 line out connection

Having trouble understanding the +4DB @600 ohm line out.If I wanted to connect this jack via an XLR cable to a mixer,what would be the best way?Most direct boxes seem to convert High Z to Low Z.Isn't 600 ohms considered low Z already?Also,is the RC network connected to this jack filtering some frequencies to emulate speaker frequency roll off?
