You might consider the Fender "aged" grillcloth. It is less shiny and darker looking than the new stuff and looks like it has spent a few years in smokey clubs when you see it side by side with new grillcloth. |

...as a matter of fact, here is a photo of some of my amplifiers (posted elsewhere on the site as well) . Check out the grillcloth of the amp at the rear... that is my Fender Ultra Chorus and it has the aged grillcloth on it. Compare it to the two amps in the foreground that have new Fender Silver/Black grill cloth. |
