I just bought this cheap Indonesian gretsch from adorama for 300 bucks..it's a g2655t..and it makes my rd50 sound like a new amp .very nice sound...and the gain distortion sounds totally different in a very good way
If you can post a clip of the sound on youtube or something I'd be keen to hear. Looking for high gain fuzz at the moment through PAF's and P90's on my strats. Am going to experiment with some yellowjackets soon.

Nice Buckeye. Never heard of Slickdeals, incredible prices. Hopefully the sounds are good. I'm not sure what kind of pickups Gretsch uses.

I bought mim blacktop strat this way about a year ago added dg20 pickguard....love it for 300 for new guitar

Same idea for me - 920D loaded pickguards into fairly cheap knockoff strats (that play pretty much the same as my old '72 genuine). Great combo.
