Peavey labeld speakers in GS 214 cab?

I have a late 1979/early 1980 HD 130 Reverb head and the GS 412 cab. I pulled speakers and they all have Peavey labels on them, but are USA made Eminence. Manufacturer/Date codes all match (67-7941, or Eminence, 1979, 41st week).

Has anyone else ever seen the Peavey label on a MM cab speaker?

My immediate response is that Mike "210" is right, that they were swapped out, especially if it was just one or two of the speakers. Another possible scenario is that Peavey and Music Man both used the same OEM part from Eminence and somehow ended up being shipped to Music Man these were put in because who is ever going to see them? Wouldn't have happened in a combo amp, I think.
