MM Head back panel help! need measurement
Hello all. I have been unable to find back panels (used or repro) for MM 130 Reverb and MM 65 Reverb heads. I am working with Mojotone and they can make some. I need help with a couple of measurements. I created the template (attached) and sent to them. They came back with these questions that I need help with:
- depth of v-notch
- width of v-notch at bottom
- height of the parallelograms
- distance between the bottom of panel and bottom of parallelograms
Any help? This could be a great source for those needing back panels.
Estimated cost from MojoTone (as of Feb 26, 2020) is $50.

George,
I could use a bit of clarification. I plugged in the new measurements but they don't add up for total height and width.
- From top to bottom, 2.3/8, 1 7/8, 2 3/8, 1 7/8 adds up to 8 1/4, but panel height is 9".
- Across top of panel, 1.5" top left corner to edge edge of v-notch, 18.5 of v-notch, 1.5 to top corner is 22.5, but panel width is 22 3/4.
- Across top of p-gram, 1.5, 6, 6, 6, 1.5 adds up to 21, but panel width is 22 3/4"
Are my numbers wrong as the angles on the cuts are not 45 degrees? Maybe panel is 22.5 wide?

Man, you rock! I blew up a picture of a back panel on my computer and took measurements yesterday, then made a cardboard template. I was pretty close to your measurements but will send you data to MojoTone to get the panels made. I'll let you know how they turn out!

Soultrain65: For my HD130 Reverb, I measured 2 3/8" for the depth of the v-notch, 15.5" for the width of the v-notch at bottom, 2 3/8" for the height of the parallelograms, and 1 7/8" for the distance from the bottom of panel to bottom of parallelograms. And not to muddy the waters, but for disclosure, I took some other measurements which may differ from yours: 9" for the height of the panel; 1.5" from the side edge of the panel to the cut in the v-notch; 6" between the tops of the parallelograms; 3" between the bottoms of the p-grams; 6" for the length of the top and bottom p-gram lengths; and 1 7/8" for the distance from the tops of the p-grams to the bottom of the v-notch. -George
