Does anyone know where I can find an original or repro courtesy receptacle --rectangular? I've not had much luck finding one to replace the broken one on my 210-Sixty Five....also, has anyone ever seen amp covers (original or repro) to fit the 210 amp? My original vinyl cover (hogged from a fender) has long since become split and torn from being transported in the back of my various pickup trucks since 1975. any input would be appreciated. |

Chuck, thanx for the help, I've got my Custom Cover on the way. BTW, I followed Trent's recap adventures closely (if you are still doing yours, listen to Mike)....Mike held my hand through a similar job back in october/november (?) 2005, guys like him, Terry and Steve are what makes this site so helpful/great. |

yes from oz. i know the things now, we dont have them on our models, nor do we have a ground switch (3 prong plug as well). is that so you can run other components out from the amps power, ive seen it in stereo for the record player. |

Just use a search engine (like Google) to search for: |

Hi Ed, You can get one from Mousser, part #5160-67BK. This is a snap in and rectangular. If you have the one that is more square...let me know and I will give you the part # for that one. The rectangular one is 11/16" by 15/16" for hole size. |

thank you, steve and terry! your signposts showed me the path and I am on the scent of the beast I am hunting. it is the rectangular one, terry, thanx for the part number. I've said it once, I think I've said it a hundred times: this site is an incredible resource for those of us still using these workhorses we bought back in the dark ages. yes, they are built like tanks, but occasionally even an M1 Abrams needs servicing...not possible without this site. |

Here's a funny story. For those of you that are unaware, I'm a math teacher at the middle school level. Several days ago, I was in the middle of a lesson and was using my overhead projector. While using the projector, I noticed the cart it was sitting on had several receptacles on it. They looked suspiciously familiar, yet, I couldn't place them. Then, in a moment of, "Eureka!" I realized they were the EXACT same receptacle located on my Music Man RD 112 fifty. Needless to say, I contacted the custodian and asked if any old broken carts were in the building. Sure enough there were. I was able to snag one for my amp! Problem solved. |

Try here. First one on the list. You MIGHT want to email them about the dimensions, just in case.
