Yes or No

As an amp tech I know the concerns associated with a "free amp". A buddy brought this over and said, "it's either you or the dump, do you want it?" Maybe I should have said no.

I can't figure out how to put pictures on this site. Maybe I'm just stupid.

Hi Lars,

Not sure how to even send pic's to you. I'm old school. This is a 210HD with the 12AX7. Worth fixing? Speakers are shot, needs a re-cap bad (haven't seen any this ruptured-ever), everything else is good, knobs, chassis, trannies, rev tank, etc.. Cab is good except for the grill cloth. Looks like Pete T. got a run at it.

As a tech you should recognize that this a quality amp. Caps are easy to replace as are speakers.

A 210 HD with a 12AX7 is also a desired amp. Since you are a tech the cost of the parts is your only "hard cost". After replacing caps and speakers (and maybe a few other items) the amp will likely be worth 2x - 3x your "hard cost" investment.

Of course.... that is assuming the major components (like the PT and OT) are still good...

PS: Can you define.... "upnorth"? Where are you located?

First off-do you HAVE a digital camera? If they are actual pics on FILM, you'd have to have them developed and then scanned. If digital, I will talk you through it. Mike.
